Pollution from road traffic and vehicles in India are growing at an alarming rate. The effects it can have on us and our environment is scary. The dangerous emissions from millions of vehicles every day are silent and invisible killers. Let us look into the seriousness of this problem that we all contribute so carelessly to act as a boomerang on us.
Thinking of pollution reminds me of a quote from Swami Vivekananda: “We are responsible for what we are, and whatever we wish ourselves to be, we have the power to make ourselves. If what we are now is the result of our own past actions, it certainly follows that whatever we wish to be in future can be produced by our present actions; so we have to know how to act. ”
Make a check on the life we live today. When the limited natural resources, vast population and increased urbanisation lead to the causes of pollution, who is to blame? Traffic pollution is one such serious issue – man-made and needs to be tackled carefully………..
