Gone are the days where most mothers are at home with kids and could spend time preparing every day’s meal from scratch. Many households now have both parents out at work, and they tend to rely on convenience foods at the end of the day. But what is the cost you pay for that convenience?
Frozen and chilled meals are now cheaply available in many supermarkets to save the cost of individual ingredients as well as cooking and preparation time. Some ready meals only need to be heated in a saucepan. Many people go for quick, cheap and easy methods. For some people, it is their laziness to prepare food at home; some others do not have enough time to do a splendid cooking after office.
